holy fucking shit joe's party is greater than that one time i met bono.
granted that's mainly because bono is a total douche.
unlike joe. joe once fought the martians. joe also can levitate 1 foot of the round if he's drunk enough. having joe in your party adds +5 to your thac0 per defense roll. vote joe, defeat the insurgency! |

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - "Futurama" has a future.
Comedy Central has resurrected the former Fox animated series from "The Simpsons" creator Matt Groening and David X. Cohen. At least 13 new episodes will be produced -- the first since the series' original run from 1999-2003.
The new batch is part of a deal the cable network made with 20th Century Fox Television last year to pick up syndicated rights to the existing "Futurama" library of 72 episodes. Comedy Central also had an option to air any new episodes produced.
New and old episodes will begin airing in 2008 on Comedy Central. Actors Billy West, Katey Sagal and John DiMaggio have agreed to return as voices for "Futurama."
"We are thrilled that Matt Groening and 20th Century Fox Television have decided to produce new episodes of 'Futurama' and that Comedy Central will be the first to air them," said David Bernath, senior vice president for programming at the network.
"There is a deep and passionate fan base for this intelligent and very funny show that matches perfectly with our audience, and it is great that we can offer them not just the existing library but something they've never seen as well."
"Futurama" isn't the first series to return to air after cancellation. The Fox animated series "Family Guy" returned to the network last year after getting a second wind on DVD and late-night cable.

| | a/c | ] | ...it's that time again! That's right, 6/24 is right around the corner! We're less than a month from our 2nd annual 624 party. Everyone keep your schedule clear on June 24, cuz you're gonna be partying it up at my place. Last year we had about 75 or so people show throughout the night. we're hoping to hit 100 this time around. THere's talk of a double dare course and possibly mud wrestling, scooter rides, ddr, a fire pit, and more alcohol than you can shake a freshman at (anyone know if natty boh kegs are easily had?). What fun!
I'm lazy and haven't gotten aronud to making a proper flyer for this year's party so in the meantime, enjoy last year's!

I expect everyone who can read this to be there. Expect directions and further details in the days to follow.... |

| | sleepy | ] | just saw Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind with robin and jason....
man, that was a hard movie. a beautiful, amazing, i daresay excellent movie..but very hard to watch. i'm very confused as to how i feel about it exactly. i really liked it a lot, but i wouldn't say that i enjoyed the experience of it. i mean, i did... but afterward i wanted to go and drown myself or something. about halfway through the film i realized that i _really_ cared about these people. i want them to be my friends. it evoked emotions that movies never bring out in me anymore. a lot of them were not pleasent, but that actually made me like the film all the more.
i'm sure that everyone who watches it can identify with the ideas and emotions it presents. i know i certainly did. i was a bit apprehensive about watching it with robin and jason as i'm sure it dredged up a lot for the two of them considering semi-recent events.
throughout the film i was constantly struck by its beauty. the way each shot was composed, the style with which they were interwoven, it was just gorgeous. its exactly the kind of film i've always wanted to create.
it was an interesting experience watching this movie today. earlier in the day i was thinking about how happy have been with where i am in life lately, and here's this movie that could have been a HUGE downer, and it was in some aspects, but i found it more curious than anything. instead of becoming really depressed, it made me extremely introspective.
...and yes, i realize i'm about 2 years too late here, but fuck off. i was rather moved by this film and felt compelled to write about it. |

Decode the following, then tell me what the quote is from and you win. I'll give you a major hint, the first part is encoded using a base64 cypher but the 2nd uses something different (but that should be obvious.) There is no such thing as 2.

despite what it says on the first page, someone with the "intelligence of the average high school student" will not be able to get very far as there are several problems that are very computer science specific. regardless, i found this a helluva lot of fun... |
